The Role
A key player within the team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding sales support and customer service to existing and new clients whilst supporting management, and sales & marketing with the development, implementation, delivery and administration of new business development, account management and client retention initiatives. Hands on responsibilities include: Outstanding technical sales support & customer service to all existing and new clients (incoming calls & email). Liaise with warehouse and communicate client delivery times Assist management with the development & implementation of marketing initiatives Implementing online and social media marketing initiatives Web content management, updating website Sales administration support for the business development team Preparation of quotes Database management (ACT!) Sales & Purchase Order entry (MYOB) Transport & courier coordination Manage outgoing marketing emails Monitor timelines for tenders and contracts General office administration & duties The Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in a Business Administration or Sales & Marketing and possess: Previous experience in a similar relevant sales support admin role within a technical / industrial / construction / engineering environment Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) Strong client rapport building skills (telephone & email) Ability to support internal staff within a small team Strong Microsoft Office skills (advanced Word & Excel essential) Working knowledge of MYOB (invoicing & inventory) Proven ability to accurately maintain CRM database (ACT! advantageous) Advanced skills utilising online software and marketing applications Self motivation and a passion to delivering quality service Excellent time and project management skills Strong numeric & technical aptitude The Reward
