Paxus' Government client is requesting a resource to develop a detailed view of the gaps which may exist in our architecture and certification deliverables, develop a structured security certification framework, document policies, procedures and templates that help IT Security to conduct assessments of ICT system in an efficient and repeatable manner
The key objectives of this role are:
ICT environment definition and discovery
Defining a series of certification elements, including how these elements link
Prioritisation of certification effort based on risk, to ensure elements are assessed and certified in accordance with their risk profile and criticality
Develop a framework that supports a repeatable methodology for IT security assessments of systems as part of the certification and accreditation process requirements of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM); and
Develop a policy and procedure to manage the development of software internally and by external providers
One other key component/deliverable of this resource is their ability/relevant experience to define policies and or frameworks to assist the Department in managing third party access compliance from a supply chain management perspective.
