We are recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor responsible for managing building contracts on-site, liaising with the P roject Manager, C lient, sub-contractors and other trades, co-ordinating all aspects of the works so that the building project is completed in line with the requirements, within budget and on time. The right person will have a commercial understanding of the project, advising and implementing cost savings at all times, and represent the company in a professional and proactive manner in all dealings with those associated with, and affected by, the building project.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Ensure that the Quality Management System documents are used throughout the administration of the projects including registers, contracts and standard forms.
Assist in the establishment of Site Safety procedures within the company guidelines.
Monitoring the use of Job Safety Analysis forms and Work Method Statements from both the company and sub contractors.
Arrange subcontractor starts and co-ordinate trades to enable the efficient execution of the works.
Keep accurate site records.
Monitor any changes to the original scope of work that may constitute a variation to the C lient or sub contractors.
Participate in a team environment including with sub contractors.
Work to a programme and within time constraints.
Accurately read drawings and specifications.
Have a good knowledge of different trades.
Assess damage to insured property as per client requirements.
Provide feedback to the Manager & Contracts Manager on potential markets and prospective work.
Contact the customer and assess the work to be done. Prepare the assessment including photographs.
Prepare accurate quotations for minor projects including allowances for internal labour requirements and material take-offs.
Procure materials for projects on time for maximum productivity.
Use the job costing software of CHEOPS to maintain client details and all job costs.
Attend various internal meetings.
Complete any other duties assigned by the Manager.
Manage incoming job requests from Insurance clients.
Essential Requirements:
Understanding and proficient user of CHEOPS software
Hold a current Site Supervisors Licence
Have completed a Site Safety Supervisors course
Cu rrent drivers licence
Cu rrent Industry White Card
