About the Role
The Field Service Engineer is an exciting opportunity which will see you utilising your strong technical experience and knowledge providing hands on technical support repairing and supporting preventative maintenance on medical equipment. The role will see you closely developing working relationships with customers, hospital staff along with myriad of internal stakeholders.
You will essentially be responsible for trouble shooting and repairing medical equipment and devices using your strong analytical and problem solving skills. This highly autonomous role will see you responsible for:
Providing highly responsive repair and maintenance support to customers.
Conduct Preventative Maintenance on equipment for customers.
Manage and prioritise Work Order list.
Utilise inventory management systems during the conduct of Work Orders.
Work closely with local sales team to support objectives.
Develop close working relationships with customers, sales representatives.
About You
A high achiever with a passion for technology, you possess strong communication and relationship development skills and pride yourself on your ability to tackle challenges head on! You are a natural leader, with the ability to push back and influence others.
In conjunction, you love all things technical and have an inquisitive mind. On a day to day basis your duties will include:
Strong analytical and logical approach to problem solving.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Effective knowledge of basic computer skills.
Have demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammer, etc.), soldering, power tools and test/inspection equipment.
Desirable Requirement
Knowledge of medical environments.
TAFE qualifications in Electrical Safety Testing.
Proficiency in ERP systems.
Proficiency in CRM systems.
Understanding of AS/NZS 3551.
