An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health Outcomes Analyst to join our Health Economics, Pricing and Outcomes Research team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will provide analytical input to the formulation and conduct of the analysis of real world data related activities and where required provide analytical support to reimbursement submissions presented to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) evaluations including participation and contribution to statistical methodological work required to address reimbursement issues. In this role, your input will also be sought in trial design, database design, analytical approaches and data presentation solutions. As such, the role promises to provide a diversity of projects and challenges and an opportunity for development and growth.

You will have excellent analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills with a particular focus on the ability to communicate complex ideas in an understandable way. In addition, you will have a curious mind, an ability for â€œbig pictureâ€ thinking, diligent attention to detail and a proven record for self-learning. Of programming skills, experience with SAS is required, and knowledge of R and/or STATA is desirable. You must be curious about data, enjoy exploring data, and be passionate about communicating the messages contained within the data.

The ideal candidate would be:

Degree qualified
A post-graduate degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Mathematics, Public Health or related field is desirable.
Have at least 5 years of experience working with data in a health related field.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, health insurance sector and similar, is highly regarded (but not essential).

Compatibility and team-fit are critical to the company and the will play an important part in the selection process. Training and mentoring will be provided to the successful candidate where knowledge gaps are identified.
