Position Details
The Bethanie Group is the largest not for profit provider of aged care services and retirement villages in Western Australia, providing over 60 years of professional care services between Geraldton and Bunbury.
We are seeking a Pain Clinic Coordinator to provide leadership and management to Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants based at the 12 Pain Clinic sites. This Full Time position will be based at the Bethanie Head Office in Claremont, with the requirement of regular travel. This role is subject to ACFI funding.
This is not just a clinical role – this is a true leadership role. To be successful in the position you must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills managing large teams. We are looking for a passionate and innovative person has the ability to influence across the business and continue to grow the Pain Clinic capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day to day operations and overall quality control of pain clinic services
Lead and support Pain Clinic staff in conjunction with the Facility Managers
Be responsible for staffing and rostering of Pain Clinic staff at all sites, including capacity to provide staff cover if shifts cannot be filled
Have oversight of Pain Clinic budget to ensure compliance
Monitor, analyse, benchmark and report on resident numbers, ACFI uplift, customer feedback and satisfaction, and referral patterns
Liaison with staff and ACFI Administration Officer at sites to ensure maximum outcomes are achieved
Requirements:
Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Ability to manage a team of OT’s, Physio’s and Therapy Assistants
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as an individual
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Valid Driver’s licence
Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
Desirable but not essential:
Previous experience within the Aged Care environment
Previous management experience
Previous experience with rostering and recruitment functions
Understanding of ACFI
