Working for a Queensland government service delivery group, the role of Training Officer will see you provide training expertise to support the development and deployment across eLearning courses. The specific program includes implementation of a proprietary learning management system as the platform upon which internal and external learners will access and undertake the eLearning.
You will liaise with subject matter experts (SMEs) and supervise, and act as the conduit on all aspects of the project, to develop the eLearning modules. Your key accountabilities will include:
Coordinate, tailor and deliver training via various mediums to end users.
Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that the training and support materials are responsive to their needs.
Prepare change management support materials e.g. fact sheets, frequently asked questions, tutorials to assist in the delivery of training and support the change management processes.
Assist in the development and execution of effective change management plans and strategies to maximise the desired outcomes of the change
Assist in stakeholder workshops and other requirement change management engagement activities.
To be successful, you must possess:
Conceptual and analytical skills enabling you to contribute to advice on training and change management strategy and plans
Experience successfully preparing and delivering training and materials
Ability to build effective relationships with all layers of the business
High level communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
