Qualifications
Be valued for who you are… You will have excellent analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills with a particular focus on the ability to communicate complex ideas in an understandable way. In addition, you will have a curious mind, an ability for “big picture†thinking, diligent attention to detail and a proven record for self-learning. Of programming skills, experience with SAS is required, and knowledge of R and/or STATA is desirable. You must be curious about data, enjoy exploring data, and be passionate about communicating the messages contained within the data. The ideal candidate would be:
- Degree qualified
- A post-graduate degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Mathematics, Public Health or related field is desirable.
- Have at least 5 years of experience working with data in a health related field.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, health insurance sector and similar, is highly regarded (but not essential).
Compatibility and team-fit are critical to the company and the will play an important part in the selection process. Training and mentoring will be provided to the successful candidate where knowledge gaps are identified.
