SAP FICO Consultant required for a major govenrment project based in Canberra! As a successful candidate you will be responsible and directly accountable to the SAP Sustainment Portfolio Delivery Manager for the efficient, effective and timely delivery of all SAP FICO related tasks, services and activities.
You will be facilitating the implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Some of the main activites will include:
Design, configuration and testing of core FICO modules (GL, New GL, AP, AR)
Design, configuration and testing of Asset Management
Successful support and maintenance of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
Liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
5+ years experience (project or Sustainment) with SAP FICO (GL, New GL, AP, AR, Assets)
SAP FICO Certification
ITIL V3 Certification
Australian Government NV1 Security Clearence
Strong customer facing and problem solving skills
Government Industry and SAP ABAP experience would be highly desirable.
