Description Registered Psychologist
Cherished Minds Child and Adolescent Psychology is a small private practice seeking a contractor to add to our friendly team.
Cherished Minds services children and their families with a wide variety of needs including support with behaviour management, anxiety, anger, ADHD and social skills.
We are looking for a contract Psychologist to offer services to our clients on Saturdays, initially on a fortnightly basis and increasing to weekly as needed.
Essential Criteria
- Registration with AHPRA
- Eligibility for registration as a Medicare provider
- WWCC
- ABN
- NSW drivers licence
- Experience in early intervention with young children with autism and other developmental delays
- Experience counselling children
- Experience in working with children who display challenging behaviour's
- Experience with behaviour management
- Competent in working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written skills
Desirable criteria
- Experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Prior experience in the diagnosis of childhood conditions such as anxiety, ADHD and learning disorders
- Prior experience in school consultation
- Experience working with parents and family units
