We currently need the services of an experience .Net Programmer to work as part of team in the ongoing support, development and enhancement of the Department’s Microsoft applications.
Specifically the role in this initial engagement will be to upgrade existing systems from older versions of .NET or SQL Server to later versions.
Previous Knowledge of:
SQL Server 2000/2008/2012 Reporting Services
Visual Interdev
Visual Studio 2013 / Visual Studio.NET 2008 / Visual Studio.NET 2003 / .NET Framework 1.1 / C#
Visual SourceSafe 6 / Team Foundation Services
Previous Skills in:
Use of C# and VB.NET in development/maintenance of .net web applications (n-tier architecture).
Use of VbScript in development/maintenance of classic asp web applications.
Experience in adapting systems for different browser versions.
Microsoft web development experience is required.
You must have a valid DCSI child related screening clearance to commence work with the ability to start as soon as possible with potential for further extension.
