Exciting role for a Lead Developer to work with a Sydney based company with 45 staff, producing global solutions in the industrial sector based on high end electronic devices and a core optimisation software solutions. With Global expansion into offices in Europe their really on the move with a smashing range of products/solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly into a Senior Project Manager you will design and develop systems-level software such as operating systems, network; management, database management, languages and GUIs; design, implement, and maintain web applications and database schemas Complete unit testing Participate in design meetings and code reviews Mentoring team members and following up development progress with the team members Facilitating the team in following company quality procedures and ensuring all internal technical documents are produced in a timely manner Assisting with implementation tasks for deploying software into client environments Provide technical design documentation for development projects to be used by other engineers and departments within the development organisation Provide customers with technical support Design and/or participate in the design of software modifications or enhancements Keep the Software Development Manager appraised of any problems or schedule slips as soon as they are apparent Follow defined processes for software development/maintenance
COMPETENCIES
Computer Science Degree SCRUM MASTER CERTIFIED (Highly Desirable) Demonstrate 10+ years experience in online development building highly scalable enterprise software and web apps using:
o .NET 2.0/3.5
o ASP.NET
o MFC / C++
o C#
o WCF
o SQL/Oracle
o XML, HTML/CSS/JavaScript
o Experience with Visual Studio 2008/2013;
o Good analytical/problem solving skills;
o UML knowledge and experience, (Enterprise Architect experience a bonus)
o Good knowledge of source control tools and experience in using them
o Good communication skills both written and oral
o Good knowledge of SDLC
