Sterling Migration and Education Consultants are an agency based in Blacktown Central. We require a Legal Aid/Clerk to assist the Director.
The job responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Liaising with clients to obtain documentation
Corresponding with education providers per case requirements
Preparing case submissions
Attending telephonic or email inquiries
Assisting with case research
The applicant needs to have a legal background or currently pursuing pursuing education in the legal field. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this position. The nature of our work is highly sensitive and confidential. Therefore, attention to detail and an aptitude in the legal field are a must. Experience with migration law is preferred, but not necessary.
This is a paid part time position (subject to a probation period), ideal for an university student looking to gain experience. The candidate must be available to work 2-3 days per week.Transition to a full time role may be available per the Director's discretion.
