This is a great long-term , permanent opportunity for a Excavator Operator with previous civil construction experience to join a well-established, leading Water Contractor that provide innovative solutions to all levels of the Water Industry throughout Australia.
Job Description
You will be working as part of a 4 man crew, assisting pipe layers on water rehabilitation projects around Sydney. Other responsibilities include;
Experience on Brownfield Sites
3-5t Excavator
Strong commitment to safety
60% in the seat, 40% general work as required
General works as required when not in the excavator
Requirements
To be successful in this role you must have prior experience in a similar role on civil engineering projects. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to fit in with the organisations culture. Other requirements include;
Relevant operating licence
Excellent communications skills with the ability to work in a close-knit team
Experience working in populated areas
Previous experience excavating around live services
