Events Officer (Permanent Full Time) Tourism Whitsundays The Events Officer will assist with working with business events, corporate events and regional events. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, this role will assist in working with the Whitsundays Convention Bureau members; providing guidance to regional events to help them become sustainable; and assist with the coordination of corporate events for Tourism Whitsundays. The individual will have prior experience in event coordination, conference and events knowledge and administrative experience with outstanding organizational skills and advanced MS Office skills, ideally with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
