Transport Administrator - Abbertons Human Resources (Brisbane / Southern Suburbs & Logan)

In this busy and diverse role you are based at Reception and are the heart of the Richlands Depot, handling all inbound enquiries in person, by phone & email, assisting customers with their accounts, collections and & drop offs and tracking freight. You will be responsible for the complete management of the Freightright accounts system including consignment notes, invoicing & credit notes, manifests, purchase orders, data entry and following up of outstanding accounts. You will be working with the Jaix system to enter, request & allocate data as required, assisting with Quick Quotes, processing sales, actioning mail, ordering stationary and completing other general administrative duties.
Hours of work are a standard 8hr day falling between 7.30am and 6.10pm. Flexibility is required as your start time will rotate. Some overtime is expected in busy periods.
To be successful in this role you will bring to the team your:
Exceptional customer service skills Outstanding attention to detail and data entry skills Proven ability to work on your own in a busy office environment Previous experience working with Jaix software or the ability to learn new systems Strong work ethic and your desire to be successful Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Previous experience within a transport company is desirable.
