- ESSAY SKILLS. I train students to write polished essays that more than fulfil the exam criteria.
- TEXT COMPREHENSION. I discuss and analyse set texts/contexts with students so they are understood in depth.
- PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. I help students explore and understand their own ideas so they can articulate them well.
- NOTES. I read thoroughly all the set texts and develop notes my students can draw upon.

Services I tutor up to 20 VCE English and Literature students per week. All students are seen individually. As well as meeting with them for their one hour (or 90 min) sessions, I support students between sessions. They are encouraged to call, message or email whenever they wish for assistance. They can also email drafts for advice and comment. Questions can also be posted to me directly through my website, www.english-tutoring.com (currently being upgraded).
Fees For weekly lessons I charge $90 for 90 minute sessions, or $70 for an hour, which pays also for the continuous support between sessions.
Recommendations from past and present students and parents of students can be provided.
