Due to an continued increasing project pipeline, this Inner West local council requires the assistance of a Site Engineer/Contract Works Officer to join their team. You will be working in the Civil Assets/Infrastructure division on an initial 9-month contract, with the intention of this being extended to over 1 year.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
A recent opportunity has become available for a Site Engineer/Contract Works Officer to contribute to the success of the team. You will be an experienced professional with extensive experience in the inspection and monitoring of earthworks/concrete/drainage projects.
DUTIES.
Manage public assets Conduct quality inspections Ensure compliance with materials and construction Prepare for meetings with note-keeping and site documentation SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Tertiary qualifications in Construction/Civil Engineering (or related) Experience with earthworks/concrete/drainage projects Understanding of public space construction (highly beneficial) CULTURE.
