Psychologist | Private Practice (Contractor) in South Yarra

Dennison Psychology is a private psychology practice, based in South Yarra. The practice is committed to high-level service delivery.
Position
A position has become available for an experienced psychologist in a contracting role at the South Yarra practice. The position will initially be 1-1.5 days per week (these may be able to be worked as half days). There maybe an opportunity for to increase hours as the practice expands.
Please consider the criteria below, which applicants will be considered in relation to.
Required
· Hold full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
· Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered psychologist working with clients in a therapeutic setting
· Highly familiar with private practice administrative duties - the successful candidate will be responsible for many elements of own admin
· Experienced in working with a wide range of mental health disorders
· Able to work independently and autonomously
· Exceptional time-management and organisational skills
· High-level interpersonal skills
· Able to work with a wide range of clientele
· Willing to work early mornings (from 7am) and/ or evenings (until 8.30pm)
· Eligible to register to provide psychological services through Medicare, and willing to register to provide services through other funding avenues (TAC, Work Safe, DVA etc.)
· Currently have, or willing and eligible to obtain an ABN
· Willing to engage in the practice's group supervision (usually held one Saturday morning per month).
Desirable
· Endorsed by AHPRA in a relevant area of practice (e.g. Clinical, Counselling)
· Experience working in a private psychology practice
· An area of interest/ expertise with regard to client presenting issues
· Willing to work additional days, as the practice expands
· Training/ experience in the following therapeutic approaches: ACT/ mindfulness, motivational interviewing, schema/ ego-state therapy, EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis.
