Kinetic Defence Services is Australia's leading consultant supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace sectors. As a partner on some of the largest Defence projects in Australia, we currently have a position available for a Project Services Manager (mission critical systems) to be based in Brisbane.
As the ICT Project Services Manager you will be responsible for:
Ensuring customer and support projects are executed in line with set processes
The coordination of all internal and external resources
Planning and alignment of resources, budget and milestones
Coordination of partners and subcontractors
Identifying risk in the project, define risk mitigation measures and provide support to the programme in line with quality processes and guidelines
Report to stakeholders of escalation of case issues or deviations and manage customer relations
This role also involves close liaison between Project Teams, Design Authorities and Technical Staff within the organisation.
Applicants with skills/experience in the following are encouraged to apply:
Tertiary qualifications (Degree) in Telecommunication, Information Technology or Electronics
Defence experience in Communications, Electronic Warfare, Information Technology or Radar
In-depth technical knowledge of business strategies in the area of mission-critical systems
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build solid relationships with customers & stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously
Sound understanding of Project Management principles
Applicants MUST be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance
This role will require some travel overseas (approx. 3 per year)
