About the role
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, this is your opportunity to exercise your expertise in strategic development and management of direct mail and online appeals, regular giving campaigns and strategic communications strategies across all platforms. The focus will be on acquisition and retention of supporters through Direct Marketing. Y ou will develop strategies to drive and maintain key revenue streams (traditional and digital). Managing one direct report, you will be known for your exceptional communication skills, relationship management, creative-thinking ability and have demonstrated success in designing, building and managing fully integrated direct marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
• Manage integrated multi-channel Direct Marketing appeals and regular giving
• Work with the fundraising team to develop and manage annual income and expenditure budgets
• Develop, build and manage donor journey program, delivering tailored communications across the team
• Contribute to develop strategic fundraising plan, providing evaluation and financial reports
• Drive data analysis and segmentation
• Cross team collaboration, developing strong relationships with all stakeholders across the department
Skills and Attributes
• Strategic thinker with experience in developing and delivering strategies, based on market insight and analysis, that have achieved significant growth
• Sound understanding of marketing principles and experience in managing multi-channel direct marketing campaigns with a clear ROI focus
• Experience in managing team to meet or exceed targets
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workload to meet tight deadlines
• Tenacious with ability to work autonomously
• Experience in acquisition, donor stewardship and supporter journeys
• Experience in managing regular giving programs
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills and experience in managing relationships with agencies and suppliers
• Ability to set and manage budgets and meet performance targets
