Holden Street Neighbourhood House runs an occasional care program Monday to Thursday during school terms. There are currently vacancies for 5 hour sessions.
Occasional care is a great way to introduce the whole family to the childcare experience and a good way to take a break for yourself too.
Holden Street Neighbourhood House is a friendly, welcoming community space in the heart of North Fitzroy. At the House we embrace the spirit of the local area and are managed by a voluntary Committee of Governance elected by the community. We are a wholly not for profit organisation.
Our programs provide educational, recreational, child care and skills based programs at low cost. We offer information and social support which endeavor to meet the needs of people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and cultures. Located close to public transport we provide a hub where people can meet others, develop skills and confidence and feel a valued member of their community.
For more information or to become involved please contact us or drop in, We welcome volunteers and are available for hire servicing meetings or gatherings for groups and families.
