THUNDERCAT boasts two 300 horse power engines each. This vessel has been designed and built for stability and speed so it's perfect for passengers who are worried about getting sea sick. We aim to please all backpackers seeking adventure, comfort and value for money.

THUNDERCAT offers an exhilarating ride around the Whitsunday Islands. We arrive at each destination quickly which means more time to enjoy the beaches, snorkelling and to work on a tan. After an action packed day on the water we offer all passengers to join us for some food adn drinks at Base Backpackers.

What to bring:
Pack a small soft bag and include:
Sunscreen, sunglasses, towel and a hat
Practical clothing and footwear (Warmer items during winter)

BYO alcohol (No Glass or redwine) for the boat only

Departures:
Departs every day of the week.
Depart: Abel point Marina 9am
Return: Abel point Marina 5pm
Free Pickups will be at the following locations at the below times:
Big 4 - 7.30am
Coles Bus Stop - 7.40am
Island Gateway - 8am
Hermitage Drive roundabout - 8.10am
Base Backpackers - 8.20am
If Passengers are not at the above pickup at the exact time they will miss the Courtesy bus and have to make their own way to the marina. The boat leaves at 9:00am sharp and will not wait for pasengers that miss the bus.
Extras:
Soft drinks and water cab be purchased for $2.50 on the boat
Booking Terms and other notes:
Please book at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.
Travel insurance is highly recommended particularly during wet season (Jan-Apr). Cancellations made less than 24hours prior to departure will result in 100% cancellation fee. A minimum of 24hours is required to change tour departure dates. A transfer fee of $20 applies.
