Our client is an National Company who is moving into Tasmania and opening a new concept. This could be a fantastic career opportunity to become the Head Chef in their flagship restaurant that if successful, could lead to big things nationwide.
As a Head Chef you will be tasked with the management of kitchen operations in this brand new venue. reporting to the Executive Chef you will be assisting with the opening of this brand new venue, menu and workflow design, overseeing all kitchen staff, and involvement with marketing and promotional strategy.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience as a Head Chef in a busy environment overseeing multiple kitchen staff A hands on approach to leadership and a strong work ethic Strong menu development and efficient kitchen process implementation Exceptional understanding of OH&S legislation standards Ability to take direction from the Executive Chef
